About me

I have not always loved the kitchen, but over the years and after falling into a lot of rabbit holes (or squirrel chasing, whichever you do), I have gained lots of knowledge and skills, and I love sourdough and baking!

I have been doing sourdough for a couple of years and recently started milling my own grains. Since learning about fresh milled grains and all of the benefits and nutrition, I moved to mostly fresh milled grains in my kitchen. Sourdough brings so many benefits to the table (pardon the pun), but adding fresh milled as well, is a win win. 

I do not only bake, though. I love cooking from scratch. For the most part, fresh and homemade is what I try to stick to. That does NOT mean I cannot/wont devour a bag of Nacho Doritos every now and again, though.

I hope to provide other families with good-quality, nutritious food with a few fun items along the way!
